Regular Events at Sukhavati

Wednesday Practice Evenings .All are welcome - these meetings are equally suitable for newcomers and those with more experience. Please arrive from 6.15pm, and there is space for bringing food or having an informal tea/ coffee etc. The practice evening itself will start at 7pm and may include nembutsu chanting, contemplation, scripture chanting, sharing and discussion around a dharma talk or theme. The evening will end around 9.30pm.

Sister Modgala is the resident priest and  has been a Buddhist nun for over ten years. Previously she was a support worker in Scotland and trained in Applied Buddhist Psychology with Amida Trust. She has taught, held retreats, and set up and worked in various projects in Zambia, Bosnia, India, France and the UK.
